Post-abortion care
Helping to reduce the risk of complications from a spontaneous miscarriage or an incomplete abortion
What is post-abortion care?
Ensuring your health after a spontaneous miscarriage or incomplete abortion.
Post-abortion care involves a small medical or surgical procedure to ensure that the womb is completely empty. It may also involve treating an infection or injury, depending on the situation.
Importantly, we also offer counselling to help identify and respond to your emotional and physical well-being. It’s our duty to ensure we provide the best help possible to our clients.
Alongside post-abortion care, we also offer post treatment appointments where you can discuss your contraception options with our team.
What to expect after an incomplete abortion
Although there is usually a little pain and bleeding, recovery after an incomplete abortion happens quickly for most women.
Along with the physical symptoms of post-abortion, you may also have emotional feelings, such as feeling sad or guilty. This is generally normal, but it’s recommended that you speak with someone or schedule a post-abortion counseling appointment with our team.
